Schengen visa appointments FAQ

Schengen Alerts UAE [VFS] is a free Telegram channel that notifies you when Schengen tourism appointment availability improves for routes from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It does not book for you.

Open @schengenalertschannel on Telegram, tap Join, then enable notifications for the channel. Without notifications on, you may miss short appointment windows.

Always on the official portal: VFS Global for most UAE routes, BLS International for some destinations such as Spain, or the embassy / visa-centre site your destination requires. Never pay unofficial middlemen.

Yes. Empty calendars are normal in the UAE. Alerts fire when a new date, earlier month, or waitlist opening appears — often before you refresh the portal again.

Yes. The channel posts when waitlists open and when concrete appointment dates appear. Always confirm the status yourself on the official booking site.

We list all 29 Schengen Area member states on the main page. Which routes show openings at any moment depends on what each visa centre publishes for the UAE.

Joining the Telegram channel is free. We do not sell appointments, hold slots, or take booking fees. You complete payment only on the official portal.

No. We send Telegram notifications based on availability signals we monitor. Verify every slot yourself on the official booking site before paying.

Availability is checked about every five minutes. Turn Telegram notifications on after joining so you do not miss an opening.

Apply from the emirate where you will submit documents. Routes and earliest dates often differ between Dubai and Abu Dhabi even for the same country.

Alerts focus on tourism / short-stay appointment signals from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Business and other categories use different calendars — always pick the visa type your trip requires on the official site.

Treat every ping as a heads-up, not a guarantee. Tracker pages can lag or flip back to empty. Confirm the slot on VFS or the embassy portal before you pay.
